宅女的一天
最近“宅男宅女”好像特别受欢迎，至少在偶像剧的世界里是这样 =)
看看自己无趣的一天，好像也蛮符合宅女嘛！
下午看韩剧，然后不小心睡了一个午觉。睡醒时竟然就已经9点了！
晚上就和电视一起吃晚餐，11点就准时开电脑，看久违了的偶像剧。
睡得太饱，结果现在还有精神地blog！zzzzzzz.... What a boring day... lols...

missing you~
Working makes me realise just how wonderful being a student is... No strict working time restrictions, no need to wake up at 7am everyday (if you know how to plan your timetable), no need to feel so tired at the end of the day everyday, no need to miss your good friends for a long time...
Seems like forever since I last met my darlings~ and organising a gathering is no longer that easy when we are all working. *sigh* Okok! I'll try to make it happen ba! Gambatte!
She Ya feels sad that her friends don't have time for her (sob...), but hopefully she'll quit her bad habit of procrastinating and try out these things soon:
1. Learn Japanese! (though this should have come before going to Japan right?)
2. Learn Piano / Guitar! (hmm... first I need a space in my room to place it somewhere,)
3. Work hard & save up! (Goal: to repay loans by end 2011!)
No more holiday trips for this year! (short and cheap trips MAYBE...) Will be going to Melbourne for work (What? Australia again?) without my good buddies so I think it's going to be bit lonely (ke lian...).

New skin
Yo Ho!!! Long Time No See!
Yeah I know I've been lazy and this place is pretty much dead... That's why I'm reviving it on Valentine's Day! Was just at the zoo today and there's such a huge crowd that I couldn't even find a place to stand to watch the Penguin's shows! (sobs...) But the elephants are so kawaii!!!! *hee*
Anyways, I'm so tired doing this blog skin thingy I think I'll stop for now. Happy V-day to all!

2009
It's a new year! I know this is a little late for a new year post... but well... I was too lazy... a 4 day long weekend has made me feel like such a lazy pig I sorta forgot it's 2009 already! Haha!
Although new year has never meant anything special to me, it still manages to remind me that another year has passed. 2008 was a special year. It marks the transition from student to working adult, and many first times:

- the first time I visited Taiwan & Japan, 2 of my top dream holiday destinations!
- the first time I travel to Australia for work
- the first time I get to experience military exercise
- first FYP
- first job
- first credit card
It seems pretty long ago that I was in NTU, mugging hard for exams, staying late with Peishi for FYP, going for CO practices, the NTUCO concert, FYP presentation, convocation ceremony...
Then it was Taiwan with Sylvia! I finally met my uncle and aunt who are working and staying there and has not been back for the past many years. Taiwan is one place where dreams come true, or so I've always felt. I hope I will get a chance to live and stay in Taiwan one day (retirement? hee hee...) and I WILL visit again... I think my parents would love to go visit too! =) - I better start saving up!
I started working end June 08, and I'm so glad I've made such good friends! Thanks to Jia Yun for always accompanying me while we take the "arrows" together! And also the rest on our boss's "arrow list" - Chaowei, Chi Meng, Hau-ge, Suwei.
I'm especially lucky to have such capable teammates! Thanks to my "lecturer" CL for being such a wonderful mentor, leader and boss. Thanks for explaining all the technical stuff like a real professor, and the many brainwashing sessions you've given us. Thanks for cooking our meals in Australia and taking such good care of us! Thanks for putting up with my "sotong"-ness when I forgot to bring my wallet & IC the other day! =P And the forever young YM - thanks for all your kind guidance and help this past 6 months! I'm going to miss them both when they go for further studies later this year. I'll jiayou and try to learn as much as I can in these few months! =) Good luck for your studies!
My favourite trip this year - Japan! F&E is really the best way to travel! =) though we 3 girls (me, elaine, xuan) were too pampered and we chose to spend lots of $$ on hotels instead of hostels... maybe next time I should go hostels or home stays instead! (sounds like lots of fun also!) Though we spent lots of time doing our research before we embarked on the trip, it was all worth it! There are still so much more to see in Japan - I wanna go back again! I love the beautiful red maple leaves, the strong cool winds and the cold winter, the friendly (and shy!) Japanese, the mix of tradition and modernity in the cities, the really complicated Japanese language, the hot sweet sake and the never-ending shopping! I really enjoyed Japan, but for now, I've gotta work hard and play less. =)
I've spent the first 4 days of 2009 resting (or slacking). Just back from a Mayday concert with my sis and her friends - was really high! Hee hee... Okok... here's my list of "to-dos" for the remaining 361 days of the year =)- Work hard! -> Will be travelling to Melbourne for work in Feb. (must be more independent!)
- Pay Loans -> too many loans but must jiayou! aim to pay off by 2011!
- Learn Japanese!
- Learn something else -> maybe guitar / keyboard / vocal
- Meet up more with my darlings!!! =)

Japan!
I'm back from Japan! And I'm missing Japan badly! It was cold but really wonderful compared to Singapore's HOT weather (I tot it's dec... shouldn't it be cooler?)
9 Days in Japan was great and I love the maple leaves!!! Perhaps I should revisit in Spring to watch the cherry blossoms!!! Sakura~ Sakura~~~

Back from Aussie
I'm back! Time sure flies... 20 days in Australia has gone by real fast... I'm now back in Singapore, facing reality again...
Life's good in Australia (minus the work)... It's quite something to see all shops closing at 530pm everyday... and it's really demoralizing to see the entire mall closed except for the supermarket - and it's only 7pm (5pm S'pore time!). We stayed in Yeppoon, a small town with ONE shopping street (that's the CBD). Luckily, the beach & seaview make up for everything =)
We have to endure 1.5 hrs per trip to travel from Yeppoon to the training area but i guess that beats staying in camp! =P The trip has made me seen so much... It's hard to put them all in words here... but well... to say the truth, I realised I'm such a city girl - I can't survive in the wilderness... I was so terrified of the buzz of the flies swarming around in the field that I could hear the "replay" even as I lie in bed that night!
Well... Ain't I glad to be home! =)
If you only see the darkness in front,
You'll miss the galaxy of stars in the sky above.
If you only feel the scorching rays,
You'll never appreciate the warmth of the sun.

work work work
I used to be able to write all sorts of crap here...but recently I find myself staring very hard at the blogger page and wondering what to write... I can't really talk much about work on blog... in case it ends up on one of the internal mass emails of the cpy.. hahaz...
I'm almost 3 months into the job... Life's good so far (I guess...) though sometimes I wonder if I'm in the right line... When what interests you is not the same as what you are good at, which one will you choose? When your dreams probably cannot be easily achieved without forgoing everything you've had all your life... What will you choose?
Will be spending 20days in the desert soon... It's work so I guess I have no choice but to be roasted there... (argh...) I hope I will still be recognizable after I'm back! (I don't want to be black black...) So well... please think of me! *blush*

lazie me!
Lala! hee... paiseh!!!
Bin back in Singapore for almost 2 wks... and no pix up yet cos watashiwa has been very lazie... PS: Filtering through 1,854 photos (=4.25GB) is a torture which I have bin trying to postpone till now... haha... good news is... i've cut down to 250 photos (woow!) and i vow to continue to cut down abit more else i will have another torturing session of uploading! lolz...
All in all, Taiwan is FUN! so for janey who's already there... enjoy! =) and ning angeline & gang going in 2 wks... Look forward to it! =) My fav is still Alishan... cos of the cool temperature and interesting trees... Taipei is wonderful for shopping, and the Kaohsiung Dream Mall Ferris wheel is so kawaii! I wish i have more time at Taipei 101! And too bad I didnt get to see more of Taroko Gorge cos of the road repairs! Next time I shall go Taiwan on F&E! (Care to join?)

Yo Ho!!! Reporting live from Taiwan Hualien Parkview Hotel!
Taiwan's weather has been really good since we arrived on Thurs! No rains to dampen the mood so far, but the long bus rides are irritating and the tour guide's "fengshui" and chinese medicine stories are driving me (& poor sylvia) nuts...
Thurs (8May) - Long plane ride... and Keelung night market is not bad! Oh! Check this out! (http://www.85cafe.com/) They have really pretty and yummy cakes!!! Shall get more in Taipei! =)
Fri (9May) - Jiufen - Bus Breakdown! - Hsinchu (eat bee hoon) - Sun Moon Lake (almost night time) - Chiayi
Sat (10May) - Chiayi - Alishan (pretty! too bad no chance to take the alishan railway) - Kaohsiung
Sun (11May) - KaoHsiung - Fo Guang Shan - Hakka Cultural Village - Taitung (cold & windy) - watched my idol drama straight from Taiwan! *finally no nid to wait for websites to load*

Taiwan!
Woo!!! This time tml... I'll be at Taiwan!!! ;)
Bin so busy these days I only got to really start packing yesterday! I've survived FYP Oral Presentation! *yay!* That's the final major "test" in the whole of my 4 yrs in NTU! Happy Graduation!! =)
wah i m soooo busy suddenly! Just heard that FYP binded copy submission is 21days after Oral Presentation instead of 20 june... Wonderful! This means I have to finish editing and confirming the final copy to send for printing before I leave and have to trouble Peishi to help me with the printing and binding... My wonderful FYP partner! *muacks* i lurve ya! hee hee... Bz Bz Bz... I am still charging my Hp and camera battery (so last minute....)
Will be in Taiwan for 11 days! (8 May - 18 May) I hope 2 gb of memory is enough for my photos! lolx... i will try to ration memory! haha!
Elaine will be flying to australia on the same day! AND flying back on the same day too! lolx... =) too bad we are on different flights... I was supposed to go Taiwan with her lor... but australia will be fun too! I wan koala bears!!! *winkx*

back in action!!!
... after 4 mths... haha
Oops I am sooooo sorry for neglecting this page of mine... It's so dead I realise I've even forgotten what's the link! (cock my head) So much has happened in the past semester... And I am now glad to announce that I've survived my LAST EXAMINATION for my whole four years in NTU! Lolx... AND next up, TAIWAN!!
I will be travelling to taiwan on tour with Sylvia! =) Well, I'll first need to survive my FYP presentation on the 6th, then will be flying on 8th May. The tour's 8 days with great hotel stays (Sylvia says our hotels have wonderful ratings online!!) and we will be extending the stay in Taipei for another 3 nights. So, I'll be back on 18th!!! Will bring back lots of pix (with my NEW Fujifilm camera!) and hopefully lots of maggie mee! (hee heee) and I know Sylvia's gonna drag me around to go buy comic books... =P
After Taiwan, I guess it's KL with Pei shi, xia xia & ning! =) It'll be great going KL with my wonderful lesson-mates! Afterall, we've spent 3 yrs looking at each other for almost all our lessons! haha... I'll really miss them when we all start work!
Speaking of work, it's DSTA for me! Most probably I'll be commencing work in July (when I am starting to finish my savings... I seriously don't think that little sum will survive till then! lolx) and poor me will be working at ulu Tiong Bahru... (ok.. it's not THAT ulu lah... just abit out of the way...)
Hmmx... I do wonder what will I become, say 5 years later... and what will my friends become? =) I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Exams are over and the hols are here... (for pretty long le for me actually....) I know I have been lazy to blog, lazy to come online, lazy to keep in touch with all the people I care about.... Just 3 months of school, and I feel like I've lost contact with the real world so much that I don't know how to start to get back my life.
I wish for the good old days... I wish I have all my friends with me all the time. I don't like the internet... I don't like talking to the computer... I don't like how msn makes people all seem so far away...
I love to watch dramas, but I don't like the empty feeling I get each time I finish watching a drama...
I have so many tasks on hand, but I just find no drive to start any of them. I don't like to see career talks announcements or invitations because they remind me that I don't have a dream for the future. I hate to admit it, but I miss the old days so much... that I don't want to move on...

Joyce must jiayou too! ya exams also ard the same time rite? Gambatte! I miss ya so much! i miss the brainies! We haven met for real long... but i guess the next meeting wont be anytime soon oso... at least till after my exams n janey's exams and clare's forever-ongoing school term end... I miss ya darlings!!
Haven been meeting up with esther n sylvia since after my bday oso... sorry darlings school's killing me and wait till i re-incarnate after my exams den we'll meet up k?
and xuan and elaine too! even my mummy is asking how come i haven been meeting you gals! lolx.... ok... i admit i m too lazie... and i guess u all r real bz too lah... we'll all jiayou n i promise i will go haunt u all after my exams k?! Wahahahahaha...
please don't remind me how i should be mugging rite now... cos i've been watching a WHOLE long list of shows le... ( i think this happens every exam period... i'm REALLY trying to cut down le... i wish~) well... i wish i've got more time... and more episodes to watch~

sch's starting!
Wah! Long time no blog! I hope someone’s missing me! Hee hee… I’m typing this on the bus home actually… I hope I dun miss my stop! =P haha…
School’s starting! Finally! I’m really missing school! I miss the lectures and tutorials with my khakis peishi, ning. yuxia! *muacks!* now I can finally go back to school to stick to you all! Dun run away!!! Hahaz… speaking of this… that lucky gal peishi is off to visit the city of my dreams! Taipei! Horrible gal! u din wait for me!!!*sniff sniff* remember my tai yang bing ok? Hee hee… like that den I will consider forgiving you for abandoning me for the first wk of school! Hahaz.
Hmmx… final year in NTU… a lot of scary things ahead of me, including, the most renowned HRM module, the seemingly friendly FYP… I’m really dreading HRM and I’m having absolutely no clue abt the latter… I know that IS bad… haiz… watching some of the nellers graduating is pretty heartwarming.. next year it will be my turn! Prepare flowers everyone! I want flowers! Hahaz... but I really wonder what will I be doing after grad. I have no idea myself… perhaps I am afraid to ask myself the question.. but I know I’m running out of time… argh… I hate to think!!!
All I’m sure about right now is that I want to go touring!!! Taiwan Taiwan Taiwan! I guess everyone who grows up with the long string of tw dramas would love to go visit the place… I even dream abt going there to stay for some time… but knowing my circumstances and financial status, I dun really believe that this will work… haiz.. if only life is a dream… but somehow other things seem to keep pulling me back… How many dreams do come true?
hmmph... shall go enter the world of harry potter instead... ciaoz!

haven blogged for SOOOOOO long! hahaz...
I.A. is over and the semesterly "fastest finger first" game at NTU has ended. I managed to get all the lessons i planned! but of cos not everyone is that lucky... hee hee... oh yes! sth even MORE lucky!!! I got 4 NDP (actual show) tix!!!! thru the eballoting! and to think i only registered on the LAST day LAST hour~ hee hee... aint I lucky? HEE HEE!
ouch my arm is aching~ I just got back home from work, badminton, dinner~ woo so eventful day... but i m dead beat... hahaz... but had alot of fun, especially since I haven't played badminton for sooooo long! I miss the VJ days when me yiing and joyce were in the badminton club! hee hee... at least i could play every sat~ then i was really freee! now weekends are so precious! haha...
I m so jealous of everyone who has gone far far away!!! I can't wait for MY grad trip! Taiwan Taiwan here i come! (one yr more!) and joyce~~~~ i'll miss ya badly! study hard and think of us ok!? *muacks*
