part-time student doing full-time revision

The pains of being a full-time traveler and a part-time student: the EXAMS. To make matters worse, the exams in UK happen after the holidays (awww...) I'm totally not used to studying with all the holiday mood - christmas, new year and after Paris and Switzerland trips. So here I am, struggling to prepare for the examinations (less than a week to go now), and praying for all the luck I need.

Maybe it's the four years of work that made me lost touch with how it feels to be studying all day. I get so distracted by the laptop whenever I am back at my room that I can't read a single word. (This happened back in the good old days when I was mugging in NTU!) And I watch stuffs that are not urgent so fast that I surprised myself (e.g. 8 episodes from Jiro Wang's new drama on Mon night and another 12 episodes last night - now I have to wait for new episodes). If only I studied drama appreciation!

I kept reminding myself that these are all Quadrant 4 activities: not important, and not urgent. It's all just an escape from the Q1 & Q2 stuff that I did in the library in the afternoon (yes, I can only study efficiently in the library currently). SOME stuff from the seven habits of highly effective people still rang in my head - though it didn't help to motivate me to work on the books instead. =P

Looking forward to the end of EXAMS and becoming a full-time traveler again!
Wish me luck for the exams!
